Whilst represnting NHFT Thelan actually told the judge that as mental health patients are prone to anxiety they do not have the same rights as other people and therefore should not be entitled to compensation for data breaches! The judge pointed out there was a different perspective on it that gave mental health patients better protection with data because they are prone to getting upset.
What makes this more disgusting is that Jennifer Thelan was representing a Mental Health Trust!!!
