Pete Watt of the Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford babysits his staff

Updated: Jun 8, 2020

18th July 2019 Dr Andrew Iles rings my husband and I and for some bizarre reason, states at the outset he has Pete Watt, manager of Priory Wellbeing Centre sitting in the room to support him. Pete happily listens in as Iles divulges confidential sensitive information about my child - which Watt had no right to hear - oops another data breach! Watt ought to have left the room promptly at this stage but chose not to!

Looks like Iles, who by then was irritate and insensitive, shouty and downright aggressive, needed Watt to hand him his pacifier. Unfortunately looked like Watt had lost the pacifier as Iles continued in his way and Watt still sat in.

Watt continues sitting in despite my husband asking that he leave as he should not hear this data. Watt then metaphorically holds Iles' hand whilst the latter tells me, or rather, shouts at me, the ICO told him he had done nothing wrong. Looks like he was misinformed and had Watt's blessing with this - the ICO have confirmed otherwise!

Watt also contacted me without consent in what appeared to me to be an attempt to protect Iles regarding a complaint. Babysit grown doctors much?!
