So a complaint was made regarding Dr Andrew Iles sending an email and the way in which he sent it broke NHS confidentiality policies as well as GDPR. Surrey paid out for this.
However, we first wrote to SBPT about it in December 2019. By April 2020 they hadn't done anything whatsoever about it. NHS Resolution stated the email never existed. When we sent them a copy, they panicked it would seem and asked Iles for the email. They told NHS Resolution that NHS Digital had withheld the email from them. NHS Digital denied this!
Louis Lau then wrote in August 2020 to say that before June 2020 when they obtained the email from Iles, they asked NHS digital who refused to give them the email and are still refusing to date. A bit of detective work back to NHS Digital again and NHS Digital totally refuted this stating that as late as July 2020 they had had NO correspondence whatsoever from SBPT about this.
