I studied at Royal Holloway University of London firstly a BA in English language and Literature and then an MA in Victorian Media and Culture, both of which I found fascinating.
I loved the fact that I was going to study at such a beautiful university but the English department back then was sadly an old building at the side of the magnificent building I looked forward to studying in! That said, much to my satisfaction, 2nd year lectures took place inside the main building.
I absolutely loved the MA, staff were excellent and I was actually the first and only student on a new course being run that year by the history department also so I was able to do lots of really interesting research.
MA was paid for by a scholarship award following my BA there, so cost me nothing and the whole experience was really memorable.
Would totally recommend it.
